Third Eye Tattoo Design by Obsolution Third Eye Tattoo Design by Obsolution
And here it is, as I promised. My first artwork in almost a month!
In pencil I really liked this design, almost to the point where I'd wear it myself but now I'm not so sure. Maybe it's the fact that I've been staring at it for ages or maybe something was lost in the translation from pencil to vector. Who Knows?

Anyway the inscriptions read "There is no one great ability without a mixture of madness" which sorta feels right with how I've been feeling lately.
Sorry but I'm not exactly sure who the quote is from, after looking around now I find that it's most likely a rough translation from Aristotle who said "There was never a genius without a tincture of madness."

Had a few different ideas with the eye, but feel free to critique.

and yes the name is inspired from tool, and no I do not intend to give the eye two pupils, that's Cam De Leon's thing, not mine.

Found this at first on google search because I was looking for some kind of third eye design to get tattooed. This was the perfect one. Went to the tattoo shop and they said a lot of the detailing was too small for the size and placement I wanted it. So had to improvise and also had him add in a fluer de lis. I'm sad that I couldn't get all of this done but I do like that it was customized too.

All in all, you're a great designer/artist. I just wish I knew what the Egyptian symbols meant. Haha. I'll send you a picture of the finished product if you'd like.

Hi! i know i did the things in the wrong order xD im sorry :P

I've tattooed (dont know if this verb exists xD) this Incredible and amazing artwork in the back of my neck, if you want a picture of it please tell me.

The first time i looked at it, i fall in love for that eye and the pyramid, that's why i instantly printed it and went to the tattoo place.

Thank you very much for this Excellent piece of work and design and sorry for not asking for your permission.

Tin.-

just a minor note: the (max) aperture of the third eye is around 1:0.73

"Alphbet of the magi" Cool, I have that font as well. Your tat designs are inspiring, very lively, smooth, real works of art. Don't be surprised if some of my arrays in the future resemble some of your designs. Thanks for the inperation, wonderful work.

Very nice design and symbolism. I also love the symbols between the outer and inner circle. Is that a real language or purely fictional, made for the aesthetics?

Thanks, glad you like my work :)
The symbols are from a runic font known as 'Alphabet of the magi'.
I like to use that font as the runes have a clean look to them and aren't too over the top :)
